Once your admission is confirmed you will get and email from noreply@ignou.samarth.edu.in.
on your registered email id the email id you used for creating account at the time of admission form fill up. search in your gmail for the mail.
Step – 1 Click on the link given in the mail
Step – 2 Click on New Registration (First time User)
If you have set your password than use it and escape this step. Else click on New Registration
Step – 3 After filling the details Click on Submit
You will get an OTP in registered email and also on registered mobile number.
Step – 4 Reset you password
Your password should be a combination of Capital Letter + small letter + special character and numeric example – Hari@Om1985
Step – 5 You will now be directed back to the login page.
Use your enrollment number as user id and password that you have set in the earlier stage.
Step – 6 After Successful login you will see the following window
Click on the small pointer to expand the Student menu. You will find Services link as the last menu.
Step – 7 After clicking on Services you will find the link to download IGNOU ID Card on the left panel
Step – 8 Click on the Link pointed by the red arrow as shown in the above image.
Step – 9 A new window will open in which you have to enter your Enrollment number.
Step – 10 And finally your IGNOU ID Card is here.
What is the use of IGNOU ID Card?
Congratulations for downloading your IGNOU ID CARD. Once this card is downloaded get a print of this IGNOU ID Card on photo paper and the standard size is Post Card size, get is laminated for future use.
- IGNOU ID CARD is required at the time of submitting IGNOU Assignment one copy with each assignment
- IGNOU ID CARD is requied at the time of Entering into exam hall.
- IGNOU ID CARD at the time of getting final Degree and Migration Certificate.
The Learner of IGNOU Can change his address as many times he/she wants but the ID Card once issued will be same and no change of address or any other is possible on the ID Card. The ID card details are never changed. So Learners should be very careful while providing details at the time of filling admission form.
